GENESIS OF ORIGIN
Post independence era witnessed the accelerated process of industrialization and hence demand for technically trained manpower increased manifold.
The trustees, driven by a passion to uplift the underprivileged and downtrodden youths (who do not have resources for mainstream education) by imparting job oriented competencies and skills. Resolved to start technical education institute.
The founder trustees visualized the changing trends in business environment at global level as early as 1979.
The Technical Institute started functioning from 1988 onwards. It was named as The Ebrahim Bawany Industral Training Institute three ITI and two TEB pattern courses, recognized by the Central and the State Government, respectively and private vocational trades were started.
The construction of building is elegant, admeasuring 1,00,000 Sq.Ft with hollow symmetrical red bricks, low rise vault capped structures and open air large corridors and court yards. The serenity and sanctity created by the unique layout provide the just right kind of environment for learning. Today, the institute have 15 theory classes and 10 workshops for various vocational trades. The second phase of construction of building is in progress.

Relevance of Technical Education in Modern Era.
We are on the threshold of 21 st Century. It is recognized as market and knowledge driven century. This era is also marked by cut-throat competitive market economy. There will be ample opportunities for employment for those who are trained and equipped with core competencies in cutting edge vocations and trades. Apart from employment such trainees can also start a business of their own.
Vocational training enhances employability in various sectors. Vocational training is less time consuming and comparatively economical as compared to higher education in universities. Students who do no score really well at board examination like 10 th and 12 th do not have bright future as the cut-off points for admission in institution of higher learning is very high. Fore these categories of students and school drop outs, the best available option is vocational training which ensures almost 85% employability.
In the present era of globalization, liberalization and privatization, the multinational and domestic industries are establishing their manufacturing and marketing facilities all over the world. Due to this, there is an explosion of employment opportunities for skilled personnel. To make our students employable in this fast changing business environment, it is imperative that we invest in creating world-class industrial training facilities to cater to the newer needs.
